Before the christmas days we order, all together 9 bottles, different cold fused oplive oils via your greek homepage. After getting all items into the trolley and started the order processit took us wonder, that the price enlarged from € 7.95 to € 17.95 per 250 ml-bottle.
The invoice (€ 234.30) was paid via PayPal. We received your OA on December, 22nd and were wondering also about the very huge shipping cost of € 81.95.
The parcel arrived via UPS on December, 29th and we were really astonished and disappointed because UPS presentred another bill about more than € 300 that had been independend from the yet paid sum via PayPal.
These more than € 300 included beside the Import-VAT of 19% good value also a handling fee of about € 25. These additional costs we could have accepted, BUT the customs fee of more than € 250 (for just 2.25 liter flavoured olive oil) was reaslly not acceptable. By calling the german custom authority we learned, that the customs fee for 100 Kg olive oil has a tax amount of about € 125 (please keep in mind, that we received only 2.25 liter) !!!?? Thus we rejected the delivery, that should have been received by you meanwhile.
Something must have been went really wrong with the customs declaration, that had been prepared by you. So please send back the amount of € 234.30 to PayPal to ensure, that we will get our money back.
PS : Three points as feedback :
You got different phone numbers at your webpages and I tried during the last two weeks several time to ring you in Greece as well as in the US but these calls kept unanswered, also my message on your mailbox
Looking at your greek and US webpage try to tag out the same prices, it´s not o. K. to sell for higher prices as pointed out
Why don´t you send ordered goods inside the EU directly and route these orders via the US; direct delivery in EU will save money (customs tax), time and efforts
